Men's Tennis Downs Messiah on Saturday

YORK, PA – The York College men's tennis squad remained unbeaten for their fall campaign as they downed Messiah College 7-2 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in York. The Spartans are now 4-0 for the year while the Falcons fall to 0-3.

The Spartans have won two straight matches against Messiah after losing three straight … the previous four meetings with the Falcons had resulted in a 5-4 decision … junior Ben Sentz improves to 4-0 at the first singles position for the Spartans … Sentz now has 18 career singles wins for the Spartans … junior Lukas Olson is also 4-0 in singles plays as he is 1-0 at third singles and 3-0 at fourth singles … the Spartans are now 12-0 in doubles matches this fall … Joel Hess and Sam Innerst are 4-0 in first doubles matches … York has outscored their four fall opponents by a combined score of 32-4.
